Our Materials

At Glitzea, we choose materials that combine quality, durability and everyday style. Our jewellery is made from 304 or 316L stainless steel, depending on the piece. Our gold-finished jewellery features a 2.5-micron PVD coating of 14K gold, available in yellow, white or rose gold. Our jewellery is nickel free according to the material specifications provided for our collection.

Our jewellery is also REACH compliant, based on the compliance information provided for the products we source. REACH is an EU regulation that sets requirements and restrictions for certain substances used in products, including jewellery.

Made for Everyday

Our jewellery is designed for everyday wear, but we recommend keeping gold-plated pieces away from prolonged water exposure to help preserve the finish. We recommend removing your jewellery before showering, swimming, exercising, or exposure to chlorine, salt water, perfume and chemicals.

Gold-plated jewellery is not solid gold. The gold is a surface coating and can naturally change with wear over time. A little care goes a long way in keeping your Glitzea jewellery beautiful.
